The series received universal acclaim at the time of release. The story of the original series, which premiered in 1998, is set in a futuristic world that follows the lives of bounty hunters Spike, Faye, and Jet, in their spaceship called Bebop as they travel across the galaxy in search of jobs to put food on the table while also trying to escape the ghosts of their past. The show is set to premiere on November 19th, 2021 with ten episodes. The cast will also include Elena Satine who plays Julia, and Alex Hassell, who plays Spike's main nemesis, Vicious. Netflix has revealed a brand-new poster for their forthcoming live-action adaptation of the highly popular anime series, Cowboy Bebop. The series is set to star John Cho, Mustafa Shakir, and Daniella Pineda in lead roles as Spike Spiegel, Jet Black, and Faye Valentine, respectively.
